The life of a social worker, wife and mom…

Published by oregonamy1972 at 5:41 pm under MSW, Married Life, Parenting, social work Edit This

I’m a social worker in a hospital. I’m also a wife and a mom.  I’m also a blogger.  I’ve really enjoyed my blogging and I’ve found a circle of other social workers who  blog, too.I think the medium of blogs is a really great way for people to connect…social worker to social worker, wife to wife, and mom to mom.  As a social worker I have found my blogs to be a great way to discuss cases (while protecting the confidentiality of our clients, of course) and issues facing vulnerable populations.  As a mom, blogs are a way to connect with other moms and find a friendly ear and sometimes solutions.  I have to say that I haven’t blogged much about my marriage.  I guess I don’t have much to say on that note, which may be a good thing.  Although, maybe I need to talk more about what a great guy my husband is!So…I plan on addressing issues that come up in my work as a social worker and my life as a mom and a wife.  And I hope that it will be interesting to folks!
